D.D. Blanchard Southern Magnolia (Magnolia grandiflora ‘D.D. Blanchard’)

 is a commanding evergreen specimen tree known for its large, lustrous foliage, rich bronze-brown leaf undersides, and exceptionally fragrant white blooms. Its strong central leader and naturally pyramidal form give it a more upright, formal presence than many traditional Southern magnolias, making it especially effective for grand entries, large residential properties, campuses, and civic landscapes.

Maturing into a substantial shade tree, D.D. Blanchard is best reserved for sites with ample room to showcase its scale and year-round canopy.
