Low Chill Hours – Requires just 150 chill hours, making it perfect for warm climates!
Pollinator-Friendly – Gorgeous spring blossoms attract bees and butterflies to your garden.

Tropic Beauty Peach (Prunus persica) grafted onto Florida Guard Rootstock thrives in well-draining, fertile soil with a slightly acidic to neutral pH range of 6.0 to 6.5.

Soil Preferences:

Texture: Prefers sandy loam or loamy soil with good aeration.

Drainage: Must be well-draining; avoid heavy clay or waterlogged soil to prevent root rot.

Fertility: Benefits from organic-rich soil with compost or well-aged manure to improve nutrient availability.

Moisture: Requires consistent moisture, especially during fruit development, but soil should not remain soggy.

If planting in heavy clay soil, amending with organic matter and sand can improve drainage. Raised beds can also help in areas with poor drainage. The Florida Guard Rootstock provides added resistance to nematodes and adapts well to Florida’s sandy soils, making it a strong choice for growing in the region.
