Slash Pine (Pinus elliottii)

is a fast-growing Florida native evergreen that brings height, year-round screening, and unmistakable regional character to large-scale landscapes. Naturally occurring across the state in moist flatwoods, swamp edges, and pine habitats, it is well suited to full-sun sites, including low-lying areas with periodic moisture.
Its long needles, plated bark, and upright form make Slash Pine an effective choice for parks, naturalized buffers, large properties, restoration projects, and development edges. Use it in groups to create a durable privacy screen or to establish the open, layered character of a Florida pine landscape.
